Preparation :

Instructions:

🔥 Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat to 325°F (160°C).

🥛 Step 2: Warm the Cream Brulee

Heat cream with vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until just hot. Don’t boil. Let sit 5 minutes.

🥚 Step 3: Whisk Yolks & Sugar

Whisk together egg yolks and sugar until light and creamy.

⚖️ Step 4: Temper the Eggs neatly

Slowly pour warm cream into the yolk mixture, whisking constantly. Strain through a sieve.

🍶 Step 5: Fill Ramekins

Pour mixture evenly into ramekins. Place them in a baking dish.

💧 Step 6: Water Bath

Pour hot water into the dish halfway up the ramekins.

⏲️ Step 7: Bake

Bake 30–40 min, until the edges are set and center is slightly wobbly.

❄️ Step 8: Chill

Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate 2+ hours or overnight.

🔥 Step 9: Caramelize

Sprinkle sugar on top. Torch until golden brown. Let rest 1–2 min.

🍓 Step 10: Serve

🍓 Optional Garnishes (After Baking):

  • Fresh berries (e.g., strawberries, raspberries)
  • Light dusting of powdered sugar
  • A mint leaf for color
  • A touch of whipped cream
